Fuyuno Haruaki released two illustration collections for Comiket 79, one of which is GAINAX Girl Mix, a collaboration with Ginta. The other is today’s review, Shoujo Electronica. Several of the illustrations in Shoujo Electronica depict girls decorated by music, but it’s not the only style in the book.

Shoujo Electronica is a B5-size, staple-bound, and 28 pages. It’s not entirely in color; there are three pages of monochrome illustrations and two pages of pencil sketches and line arts. The collection has thirteen full color illustrations and every illustration is full page or a spread.

The cover illustration repeats inside without cropping. Hatsune Miku illustrations used for the Vocaloid CD Monochrome Snow, easily some of my favorite renditions of the character, also feature. Fuyuno Haruaki’s contribution to the Spicy Sesame Oil book Ore no Momora also features.

All the illustrations are well-polished and several were commissioned for other publications. Fuyuno Haruaki’s Winter Comiket 79 releases are great. You can’t go wrong with either of them!
