Kirakira Kawaii Sunshine-san is a very short doujinshi featuring Heartcatch Pretty Cure‘s Cure Sunshine. Bakutendo enjoys these themed collections. His latest concentrates on background characters from K-ON!

Kirakira Kawaii Sunshine-san is a B5-size, staple-bound, and 12 pages. The inside covers have illustrations so you get a few more illustrations than you might have expected. Though Bakutendo’s style leans towards the super-deformed chibi designs, he can still dress it up with lighting and details.

I am glad that most of the Cure Sunshine illustrations are more elaborate with glows and poses from the transformation sequence. Kirakira Kawaii Sunshine-san is really short, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re a fan of the character, artist, or better yet both.
