TOEI Animation Works is an extra-wide A4-size book with 208 pages. The color pages end on page 112. The cover illustration for the collection is new and features inside as a fold-out poster.
The first gallery is HeartCatch PreCure from pages 4 to 19. The art work is mostly full page or two-page spreads. Ojamajo Doremi is the largest section, covering pages 20 through 59 in the first half of the gallery.
There are three pages of illustrations from Marie & Gali.
The art comes from video packaging illustrations from page 63 to 84. There are two pages for HeartCatch PreCure, one page for Marie & Gali, and the rest is Ojamajo Doremi.
Character designs and key animations for HeartCatch PreCure start on page 84 and go to page 143. This is the only animation section with color works, though it’s only for the first few pages. At the end of the section, Umakoshi has a talk about his experience on HeartCatch PreCure!
Ojamajo Doremi goes from page 144 to 189 and focuses on character designs more than the animation. There are sketches and line arts from the color DVD illustrations shown earlier in the book. Marie & Gali has a short 10 page section that is mostly line art. Both sections include discussions about Umakoshi‘s experience on the shows and staff member interviews about what it’s like working with Umakoshi Yoshihiko.
