Life of Negentropy is 40-pages and B5-sized. The front and back covers are similarly styled, with the Puella Magi Madoka Magica girls in school uniforms illustrated by Tiv on one side, and the magical girl versions illustrated by Haruse Hiroki on the other. Despite the high page count, there aren’t a lot of illustrations—most of the book consists of comic pages.
Tiv‘s side is mostly illustrations. There’s also a one-page walkthrough of Tiv‘s line art and coloring for the cover, followed by two pages of a Mami Tomoe 4-panel comic.
There are five guest artists: H2SO4, CUTEG, Rakuraku (楽楽), Fukurai (福来) and Mizu Asato (水あさと). The illustrations are great, and it helps to make up for the lack of illustrations on Haruse Hiroki‘s side…
Haruse Hiroki‘s side of Life of Negentropy includes a spread of Sayaka Miki and Kyoko Sakura, along with a picture process for the cover. The rest of it is a 17-page Kyuubey comic, with 5-pages spent on zooming in closer to the same illustration. But that’s the sort of potluck you tend to get with doujinshi.
