Reading Time: 2 minutesMon Étoile Notre Constellations du Ciel is one of my favorites from Ito Noizi. Her Zodiac signs are unique and beautiful, and they stay true to her style.
The Comiket 78 release came with a clear pattern tote. It has a handle on one end and opens from a zip-lock on the side. It’s perfect for carrying prints or other art works in a stylish way. Mon Étoile is A4-size and 36-pages with the covers. The cover illustration is the line art of Aries, with an embedded holographic foil.
Each Zodiac illustration is placed next to its rough sketch with the artist’s comments. The color schemes for this collection really stand out. It’s different from Ito Noizi‘s usual style, using more color gradients and less shading. The print quality in Mon Étoile is also high quality, with very little color noise.
There are 13 illustrations total. Twelve are the individual Zodiac character portraits. The thirteenth illustration is a 2-page collaboration between Koji and Ito Noizi, featuring a male version of Aries with a female Taurus.
